Prepare a Lesson As per NEP2020

3 ways to prepare a lesson as per the New Education Policy 2020.

1. #PLAN 2. #PLAN 3. #PLAN :) :) Planning lessons in advance is of utmost importance as it allows teachers to align their lessons with the NEP 2020 goals. Summarizing elements of Lesson Design incorporating elements stated in the New Policy: 1. #PurposefulLearning: Help students to understand the 'WHY' behind their learning journey. 2. Using #InquiryBasedLearning: Let students share their existing knowledge about the topic, come up with wonderings and learn to find answers to their wonderings. We need to help them get a way to present their findings. I suggest using a #structuredinquiry if you are new to this method. 3. #TechnologyIntegration: I suggest using #canva where students can collaborate and use it to design flash cards/videos for presentation. Taking students to the computer lab in your subject class is also helpful. 4 #Essentialskills: Design tasks in #groups that stimulate critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity to develop students' higher-order thinking abilities. 5. #Application: Include opportunities for students to apply the knowledge and concepts they have learned to real-life situations or scenarios. 6. #ResearchWork: Integrate research-based activities to encourage students to explore topics deeply, gather information, and develop their research skills. 7. #TactileMaterials and #handsonlearning: Utilize tactile materials, manipulatives, and hands-on projects to facilitate experiential learning and enhance understanding. 8. #Studentchoice & #Differentiation: Try to incorporate enough opportunities for students to choose tasks, groups, ways of learning, and presentations. 9. #Artintegration: Try to have students draw or represent the concepts pictorially, Have them paint the corridor walls with the concepts. 10. #Multiple ways of #assessment : We can plan for Quizzes on Kahoot and create rubrics for the research projects for evaluation. Providing templates for research work helps in scaffolding and ensures students are on the right track. If you ask me, if all this is easy, The answer is no. It needs the utmost planning, determination, coordination, continuous upskilling, and managing time constraints. But the outcome will be worth celebrating. Stay tuned, as I share students' work after we implement what we planned during vacations.

Thinking about resigning? Wait!

 🤔𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴? 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁!🖐️

Feeling the urge to resign and leave a job is not uncommon and can be a sign of dissatisfaction or burnout. However, before making any hasty decisions, it's important to assess the situation and explore ways to improve your experience at work.

Discover how you can transform your current job into a satisfying and rewarding experience with these actionable tips:

Reflect on your reasons:

Take some time to identify the specific aspects of your job that are causing you to feel this way. Is it the workload, lack of growth opportunities, poor work-life balance, difficult colleagues, or something else? Understanding the root causes will help you address them effectively.

Speak with your supervisor:

Schedule a meeting with your immediate supervisor or manager to discuss your concerns. Be open and honest about the challenges you're facing and propose potential solutions.

Seek feedback:

Request feedback from your supervisor, colleagues, or subordinates to gain insight into how you can enhance your performance or contribute more effectively to the team. This can help you identify areas for improvement and demonstrate your willingness to address any shortcomings.

Set clear goals:

Take the initiative to set clear and achievable goals for yourself. Having a sense of purpose and direction in your work can improve motivation and engagement. Discuss your goals with your supervisor to ensure alignment with the overall objectives of the organization.

Develop new skills:

Consider if there are any skills or knowledge gaps that could be hindering your progress or causing dissatisfaction. Seek opportunities for professional development, either through training programs offered by your employer or by pursuing external courses or certifications that align with your career goals.

Build relationships:

Cultivate positive relationships with your colleagues and superiors. Collaborating effectively, seeking support, and creating a supportive work environment can significantly improve your overall job satisfaction.

Take care of yourself:

Prioritize self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Make time for activities outside of work that help you relax and recharge. Engaging in hobbies, exercising, spending time with loved ones

Explore internal opportunities:

If your current role or department is causing significant dissatisfaction, inquire about other opportunities within the organization that might be a better fit for your skills and interests. Internal transfers can offer a fresh start without completely abandoning your current workplace

If you've exhausted all possibilities and genuinely believe that leaving your job is the best course of action for your well-being and professional growth, it may be time to consider other options.

However, it's generally advisable to explore and attempt to address the issues before making such a decision

Three Self-Care practices that can make a Significant difference in our lives

Let's take a moment to talk about an essential aspect of success that often goes overlooked: self-care!

In our fast-paced professional lives, it's easy to become consumed by work demands, deadlines, and never-ending to-do lists.

But remember, investing in our well-being is crucial to maintain balance and achieve long-term success. 🌱

Here are three self-care practices that can make a significant difference in our lives:

1️⃣ Take Time for Reflection: Pause, breathe, and reflect on your achievements, goals, and challenges. Self-awareness helps us identify areas for growth and celebrate our accomplishments. Journaling, meditation, or simply going for a walk in nature can provide the clarity and peace needed for self-reflection.

2️⃣ Set Boundaries: It's essential to establish boundaries to preserve your energy and prevent burnout. Learn to say 'no' when necessary and prioritize activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul. By creating space for yourself, you'll recharge and be better equipped to tackle professional challenges.

3️⃣ Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind and gentle with yourself, especially during challenging times. Celebrate your strengths and embrace your imperfections. Remember, it's okay to make mistakes; they provide opportunities for growth. Cultivating self-compassion fosters resilience and enhances overall well-being.

Let's make self-care a priority, not just an afterthought. By nurturing ourselves, we become more productive, creative, and fulfilled individuals.

Share your favorite self-care practices and experiences in the comments below.

Let's inspire and support each other on this journey towards holistic success. Together, we can thrive both personally and professionally!
